Who are you beyond society’s expectations?
How do you define yourself in a world that misunderstands neurodivergence?
Can you claim your neurodivergence if its not been professionally diagnosed?
Being neurodivergent is complicated… Lets Talk About It
I want to invite you to our first Mind Over Meltdown Talking Circle on Self-Identification, where we’ll explore what it means to name, claim, and embrace our neurodivergence on our own terms.
★ What to Expect:
A welcoming space for Black and Brown neurodivergent folks to reflect, share, and connect.
Guided discussions on self-discovery, labels, and reclaiming identity.
Flexible participation speak, listen, or simply be present in whatever way feels right for you.
A supportive space to share your journey—whether you’re newly exploring your neurodivergence or deep in the process of unlearning.
Community connection with people who truly understand.
★ Timing & Neurodiversity Buffers:
We understand that time can feel different for neurodivergent folks. While we have a structured flow, there’s buffer time before and after the session to allow for settling in, late arrivals, or decompression. You are welcome to arrive early, take breaks as needed, or leave when it feels right for you.
★ Respect & Confidentiality:
This is a brave and respectful space—everyone’s lived experience is valid. By attending, you agree to honour confidentiality and engage with care. Harmful language or behaviour will not be tolerated.
