New year new branding. Lets see how long this one sticks.
If you’ve been following my content since 2019 then god bless you. Thanks for still being here and welcome to the next era. Together we’ve been through like 5 different podcasts, changed newsletter platforms, hosted yoga events, had a book club, went through a linkedin phase, moved to london (and back), changed career, battled fatigue and pulled through burnout.
I wish I could say any of that was deliberate but I know that it was helpful. The plan was always to help autistic black people to access support and all the data I’ve gathered along the way just made it clear that I have to actually do something. So I am.
I’m back with something that feels more grounded, more intentional, and more sustainable. A podcast. A platform. A community.
Introducing… Mind Over Meltdown.
It’s a neuroinclusive community for Black & Brown neurodivergent folks (but open to all who respect the space). At its core, Mind Over Meltdown is about using wellness and community to counter the overwhelm that comes with navigating the world as a neurodivergent person. We’re here to move, connect, and create spaces where we can just be.
Join Us for Our First Event!
To kick things off, we’re hosting a wellbeing walk in Manchester.
📍 Where? We’ll start and end in town.
⏰ When? Saturday, February 15th.
👣 What’s happening? A slow, low-pressure walk designed for connection, rest, and being in community. If you want to meet new people, we’ve got optional conversation starters. If you just want to exist in the space, no pressure.
🎟️ It’s free, but RSVP to get full details + updates.
Not in Manchester? Join Us Digitally!
If you can’t make it in person, I’m also opening up digital membership soon you can still be part of Mind Over Meltdown wherever you are. Expect a book club rebirth, coworking, fireside chats, and more ways to stay connected. Sign up here for updates on what’s coming next.
This is just the beginning, and I’d love for you to be part of it.
See you soon,
Tyla // Founder, Mind Over Meltdown
